Double recognition for Vredestein tyres in annual Auto Express Product Awards

Leading UK motoring magazine Auto Express has ‘commended’ two Vredestein tyres in its annual Product Awards, placing them ahead of many big-brand rivals. The magazine’s test team singled out the Vredestein Quatrac in the all-season tyre category, and the Vredestein Ultrac in the summer tyre category.

Auto Express focused on the four best products in each tyre category. In its summer tyre summary, the Auto Express jurors said of the Vredestein tyre: “The R&D team had obviously done its homework, because the Ultrac was the star of the wet handling circuit, finding grip where others would just slide wide.”

The jurors continued by praising the Vredestein Quatrac in the all-season segment, noting: “Strong front-end grip and a stable rear were key to success in the wet, where the lateral grip was high through the turns.”

The Vredestein Quatrac and Ultrac are both manufactured in Europe by Apollo Tyres, which has its headquarters in the Netherlands.

This latest recognition follows success for Vredestein-brand products in Auto Express group tests during 2021, with the Ultrac and Quatrac outperforming other leading tyres in wet and dry handling.
